Trekking in Nepal requires following permits:
- Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS)
 All the international travellers are required to have TIMS card while travelling in Nepal.
 Exception, Khumbu region issues its own trekkers card while trekking in Khumbhu region.
- National Parks and Conservation Area Entry Fees
 The travellers have to pay the national parks and conservation area entry fees while trekking in the respective parks and conservation area.
- Restricted Area Permits
 Some of the trekking routes are classified as restricted area, which requires restricted area permits.
